If you want to talk to someone about your results, fill out our test results request form and someone will be in touch.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.

Blood tests

White House Farm only do blood tests in the morning due to designated collection times, if you need a blood appointment in an afternoon Doncaster Royal Infirmary provide a blood test service until 4:45pm each weekday. If you wish to have a test done at the hospital you will need to ensure that the clinician has requested the tests online so that the hospital can view them. You do not require a physical form as this can be printed at the hospital.

NOTE: all blood tests have to be approved by a GP or clinician before the test can be taken.

Urine, sputum and stool samples

We no longer accept routine urine samples unless they have been requested by a clinician. We have been inundated with urine samples and unfortunately do not have the capacity to provide a routine urine dipping service. Therefore, we have made the decision to no longer accept urine samples unless they have been requested by a clinician.

Please be aware that any samples that have not been requested will not be processed and will be discarded. This may result in you having to bring another sample in once requested by a clinician. Most pharmacies can assist with uncomplicated urinary tract infections and may be able to provide a faster service.

All urine, sputum and stool samples, once requested, need to be brought into the practice before 12 noon any weekday unless asked for by a clinician. This is due to external collection times.

Please note urine sample results can take a few days to reach the surgery depending on what tests the pathology lab need to do, in some exceptional circumstances the pathology lab may need to send the sample to another department or hospital which can delay results.
